After sitting on the other side of the table for years, it never ceased to amaze me how people were willing to "slag off" at a previous boss - not realising that we look for things such as loyalty and trust. Being negative about a past boss shows you don't have these traits - and also shows you are indiscreet and don't have good judgement about who to share your war stories with. It makes us wonder how you will represent our company if you worked with us. I agree Beverley. This is exactly what I did this morning, but it worked. Well, sitting at a blank computer screen until the blood doplets formed. After about 1/2 a litre of blood had dripped from my forehead the words began to flow freely and I've managed to write for hours on end. :) I love that!
